How to recognise your Type just by looking at your Body Graph?

You have just generated your , and is showing in the little summary strip under the chart: Generator, Projector, Manifestor… Fine. But could you find it yourself, just by looking at the drawing? It is simpler than it looks, and once your eye has it, you never lose it. We will show you, with real examples.

So what is Type, exactly?

Type is the first big piece of information on your chart: the way your energy works and meets the world. There are only five, and each one comes with its Strategy, the smoothest way for you to take hold of what life offers: responding to what turns up, , informing before you act…

And that changes a great deal. Two people can be aiming at the same thing, one wearing herself out forcing doors while the other moves along without friction, simply because they do not run on the same engine. Knowing means you stop measuring yourself against somebody else’s user manual. If you want to dig further, each Type has a full page of its own; here, we are only learning to see it.

The only two places to look

No need to decipher all 64 . To find you need two landmarks and no more: (the square under the head) and the four motors, which are the (the square in the middle, under the diamond), the Heart (the small triangle to its right), the (the triangle at the bottom right) and the Root (the square right at the bottom).

Body Graph with the Throat circled in blue and the four motors (Heart, Solar Plexus, Sacral, Root) circled in red
Your landmarks: in blue, the four motors in red. A coloured centre is defined, a white centre is open.

Then three questions, in this order. That is the whole method.

Question 1: is everything white?

If no centre is coloured, you are done: you are a Reflector. It is the rarest Type, barely 1 % of the population.

Question 2: is the Sacral coloured?

Look at the square in the middle of the chart. If it is coloured, you belong to the Generator family, the largest of them all. If it is white, you are either a Manifestor or a Projector. Either way, one question is left.

Question 3: does a motor talk to the Throat?

Follow the fully coloured : is there an unbroken path running from one of the four motors up to ? The path may be direct, or it may pass through another centre on the way. Watch out for the trap here: any motor counts, not just the . A wired to the Throat is enough, for instance.

The verdict, in four lines:

  • coloured + a motor linked to → Manifesting Generator
  • coloured, no motor linked to → Generator
  • white + a motor linked to → Manifestor
  • white, no motor linked to (but at least one ) → Projector

Practise on five real charts

Generator: Catherine Deneuve

Catherine Deneuve's Body Graph, a Generator: Sacral defined, no motor linked to the Throat
coloured, Throat coloured… but wired to the G, which is not a motor.

Her is defined, so she is in the Generator family. Now look at the reverse trap: her Throat is coloured, but what feeds it is the diamond in the middle (the G Center), which is not a motor. No motor reaches , so she is simply a Generator. Her Strategy: wait until there is something to respond to.

Manifesting Generator: Zinédine Zidane

Zinédine Zidane's Body Graph, a Manifesting Generator: channel 20-34 links the Sacral to the Throat
Channel 20-34 takes the , a motor, straight up to .

defined here too. But this time a channel runs straight from the Sacral to (the 20-34, clearly visible on the left of the drawing): a motor is talking to the Throat, so he is a Manifesting Generator. He responds like a Generator, then informs before he moves.

Manifestor: Serge Gainsbourg

Serge Gainsbourg's Body Graph, a Manifestor: Sacral white, with the Heart and the Solar Plexus linked to the Throat
white, yet the Heart (21-45) and the (35-36) both reach .

Here the is white. But two motors are talking to : the Heart through channel 21-45, and the through the 35-36. A motor linked to the Throat, with no Sacral: Manifestor. His Strategy: inform first, then go.

Projector: Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt's Body Graph, a Projector: Sacral white, the Root linked to the Spleen rather than to the Throat
A defined motor (the Root), but wired to : stays out of the circuit.

white. He does have a defined motor, the Root… but it is wired to the Spleen (the triangle on the left), which is neither nor a motor itself. No motor reaches the Throat: Projector. His Strategy: , and guide when he is asked to.

Reflector: Jeanne Moreau

Jeanne Moreau's Body Graph, a Reflector: all nine centres are white
Nine centres, nine of them white: the eye stops at question 1.

Everything is white: Reflector. Not one , a maximum sensitivity to the mood of a place, and a Strategy that takes its time: let a full go by before any big decision.

The trap that makes everyone doubt

The classic confusion is to read Manifesting Generator as “ linked to ”. It is not: you need a defined Sacral and a motor linked to the Throat, any one of the four. Someone can have a defined Sacral on one side of the chart and a wired to the Throat on the other: that is a Manifesting Generator, even though her Sacral never touches the Throat. And the other way round, a very colourful Throat does not make a Manifestor if what feeds it is not a motor, as you saw with Catherine Deneuve. Once you have found , the next step is , and you can spot it on the chart with a single rule.
