What your birth time changes in your Body Graph

Date and time of birth
Optional: the time you think is right. The range is centred on it, and you can move it afterwards.
If you leave it empty, Paris is used.

Enter your date of birth first.

Unsure of your birth time, or only know it roughly? Enter your date and place of birth, then the time range you are unsure about. The calculator follows your Body Graph across the whole range and shows you what stays the same, and the exact minute your Type, Authority, Profile, Definition or Cross changes, then your arrows, colours and tones. Free, no account needed.

What the calculator shows you

You enter your date and place of birth, then the time range you are unsure about: “between 6 and 10 am”, “sometime in the morning”, or the whole day. The calculator works out your across that range and finds every change to the minute. You then read, in a few lines, what stays the same from start to finish, and the exact time , Authority, Profile, Definition or moves from one value to the next. Two more lists follow: one for your four , the , and one for the colours and tones of the Sun and the Nodes, the PHS, which change far more often.

By hand, you would have to create a every half hour and compare the results side by side. Here, around fifty charts are calculated in one go, then each change is narrowed down to the minute.

The calculation runs in your browser, with the same ephemeris engine as the rest of the site. Your date and time of birth are not sent to us: only the place you type is looked up in a place database, to find its time zone. Free, no account needed.

What it does not do

It does not guess your birth time. No calculation can recover it from your date: that would take information nobody has. The calculator shows you what depends on the time within your range; the decision is yours, or belongs to the document you go and find.

Nor is it a birth time rectification, the practice of estimating a time from the events of a life. If nothing changes across your range, these five markers are settled, whatever your exact time within it; your , colours and tones have lists of their own. and lines can still move without the calculator listing them one by one.

How to read the result

  • “Does not change over this range” lists the markers that stay identical from start to finish. If is there, it is settled, whatever your time within the range.
  • Every following line is a moment: the time, the marker concerned, its value before and after. A real example, a birth on 21 June 1982 in Paris: Authority switches from to Emotional (double) at 17:18. A birth before 17:18 gives a Sacral Authority, a birth from 17:18 onwards an Emotional Authority.
  • “The time you entered” places your assumed time in the timeline, if you gave one.
  • “ ()” and “Colours and tones (PHS)” read the same way, for the four positions of the Sun and the Nodes: , Environment, Perspective and Motivation. The direction of each arrow follows its tone: tones 1 to 3 point left, 4 to 6 point right.
  • Below the timeline, you can see how many charts were calculated. If you did not pick a city from the list, a note reminds you that the range was calculated for Paris.

Drag the two handles to widen or narrow the range: the calculation starts again by itself.

Why a few hours can change everything

Your brings together two moments: your birth, which gives the Personality, and a moment about three months earlier, when the Sun stood 88 degrees back from its birth position, which gives the Design. Move the birth time and both move with it.

Most planets travel slowly and do not change gate within a day. The Moon, however, changes gate two to three times a day, on both sides of the . Sometimes that alone completes a channel and defines a centre: this is how a Type or an Authority can switch. The Profile is even more sensitive. Its two numbers are the lines of the Personality Sun and the Design Sun, and each changes line roughly once a day. Finer still, each line divides into six colours and each colour into six tones: the Sun changes tone about every 40 minutes and colour about every 4 hours, the Nodes far more slowly.

Place matters as much as time: it sets the time zone, and so the universal time used in the calculation. Pick your city from the suggestion list; without one, the calculation uses Paris.

What if your birth time is written down somewhere?

Before betting on a range, check whether the time is already on record. Ask the civil registry of your place of birth for the fullest version of your birth record rather than the short certificate: every Scottish birth entry carries the time, a standard certificate in England and Wales shows it only for multiple births, and in the United States it appears on the long-form certificate. Even a vague memory from a parent often narrows the range.

What changes when the time shifts

An approximate birth time does not change everything. Across 5,000 births drawn at random, the table shows the share of Body Graphs in which each element changes when the time moves by fifteen minutes up to two hours.

Element15 min30 min1 h2 h
Type0.7%1.3%2.4%4.9%
Authority0.6%1.1%2.0%4.1%

The profile moves the most: it changes for 8.4% of births with just one hour’s difference. The authority moves the least, changing for 4.1% at two hours.

Calculated by Rosmaryn on November 1, 2026 with the site’s own ephemeris engine, from 5,000 births drawn at random between 1945 and 2015. A fresh sample is drawn every month.
