Your was calculated once, for the moment you were born, and it stays that way. The sky keeps turning: right now the planets are lighting up other , for everyone at once. These are . Here is how to read them in three glances, lay them over your chart, and watch them the way you watch the weather rather than the way you read a horoscope.
The sky moves faster than you think
The planets travel round the same wheel of 64 as your chart, each at its own pace. The Moon changes gate in less than half a day and goes round all 64 in just over 27 days. The Sun changes gate every five to six days. The slow planets linger: Pluto moves in and out of gate 41 from April 2024 to January 2029.
That is why the page for today’s transits is called The sky of the moment and is recalculated every fifteen minutes: it shows the moment, not the whole day.
What a transit does on your chart: completing a channel while it lasts
On your , find your , each one a coloured dot with half a channel running out of it and stopping halfway. Further along the same line, on the centre opposite, a number stays uncoloured: that is the partner gate. The list of 36 channels gives every pair.
When a planet moves through that partner gate, the channel closes in you for as long as the transit lasts. The two centres it links light up without becoming yours, and the channel opens again when the planet moves on: in less than half a day for the Moon, five to six days for the Sun.

What a transit leaves alone matters just as much. , Profile and Authority remain those of your birth: the sky of the moment has a single layer, with no Design. It lends you a channel; it does not give it to you.
Reading the sky of the moment in three glances
Open The sky of the moment, no account needed. At the top, the page gives the day and time of its reading, in Paris time. Then come three glances.
- The Sun and the Earth. Under “The Sun and Earth of the moment”, two face each other across the wheel. They hold for five to six days: the backdrop to your week.
- The Moon. In the table “The active right now”, its row is the one that changes fastest.
- What the sky closes on its own. “The formed” and “The centers defined”: what the planets link among themselves, for everyone at the same time.

Then lay that sky over your chart. Scroll down to “And on your own , what does it do?”. With the Essentiel plan and your Body Graph chosen in My account, the “Add my Body Graph” button places your chart under the sky and lists the the sky closes in you. Without a subscription, do it by hand: note your and their partners, then look for those numbers in the table.
Weather, not a forecast
At the top of the tab in your analysis, the introduction ends with a sentence that holds for every transit: “This is not a forecast, and nothing is announced here. It is weather: something to observe in yourself, not something to believe.”
So a transit does not tell you what to do. It gives you a marker. On the day the Sun closes one of your , write down what you notice; when it moves on, write down what changes. After a few , your own notes do the talking. Your decisions stay with and Authority, which no sky can shift.
Example: transits in the week this article comes out
We calculated the seven days after publication in advance, with the site’s own engine. Times are Paris time, as on the page, which is UTC+2 in early October.
Friday 2 October, 9:00. Sun in gate 18, Earth in gate 17. The sky closes two on its own: 30-41, through the North Node and Pluto, and 21-45, through Saturn and the Moon. Around 9:30 the Moon moves into gate 12 and 21-45 opens again. 30-41 holds from late July to late November: the North Node spends four months in gate 30.
Same day, around 18:30. The Sun enters gate 48 and the Earth gate 21, until Thursday 8 October around 11:30. If your chart has gate 16 without 48, this is the diagram above: channel 16-48 closes in you for almost six days and links your Throat to your .
Thursday 8 October, around 11:30. Sun in gate 57, Earth in gate 51. With Uranus in gate 20 and Neptune in gate 25, the sky closes 20-57 and 25-51 on its own, until the early hours of Wednesday 14 October.
Meanwhile the Moon changes gate eighteen times. Three speeds in a single week: hours, days, months. Your turn: open the page, take your three glances, and look for those on your chart.
What is free, and what Essentiel and Strategy add
- No account: The sky of the moment page, from the Sun down to the centres defined, and today’s message, which puts into words the sky taken at midday, universal time.
- Free account: save your and choose it as yours in My account; today’s message then crosses the sky with your birth.
- Essentiel: “Add my ” on the sky page, and the tab, which shows you in full the next period when the Sun closes one of your .
- Strategy: the “Transit” button with the clock, above your , to run the sky across your chart; “Overlay another chart” on the sky page; every period in the .
Key takeaway: a transit does not change your chart; it completes a channel for as long as it lasts. Look at the Sun and Earth, the Moon and the formed, lay them over your , and observe.
